...ers to see and do operation & maintenance of high power electrical equipments. Salary is good as comparing with private sectors in kerala...but it is not secure...it is purely contract....will not get any benefit for experienced or trained engineers in salary, it i fixed...no work load and will get do much free times to study....

...they were given was just 20 rupees😂😂😂.Also there is no room for growth.Only thing is if you want to stay in your home town with 20 to 25k salary go for it else stay away from KSEB contract employing.

...line in line out station..In ma duty,i have an assistant...Per day i get 1000+..Good salary..day by day i gained lot of information about generation transmission etc...

...rker, they would often get salary appraisal as per company norms and experience. They are liable to get Bonus or any other financial aids in time. Sometimes working environment will be very risky but with appropriate team work any difficulties can be Overcomed. Onnovative ideas will depend on the ability of Main Engineers and Labours. KSEB provide's a good Work-Time balance system as the Office time will be in between morning 10am to 5 pm in evening. KSEB ensures no home in Kerala is left in dark.

People working under Contract with KSEB are quiet under payed. A permanent worker would get 4 times the money a contract worker would get for same work load or more and is not liable to avail any medical benefits or others. He will be at his own risk. Efficiency of the Kseb Substation or Office is depended on the skill and morality of the Main Engineer and associated workers.

My job was to work as an operator in Kerala State Electricity Board ltd on contract basis where i have to renew the contract every 3 month.The timing of the work is on shift basis( where i had to work in day as well as night).The nature of the job -- To take hourly readings,S/off,earth and isolate the electrical instruments if required,if any abnormalities observed then i have to inform that to my superior officers etc.Well the work enviroment was nice.

Dislikes

The work enviroment was friendly.But the salary crediting method was not very pleasing.It was like they credit the salary according to their convenience(Salary date was not fixed).
