Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Since the no of total staff is minimum I have to go to office every day. Company is not providing any transportation. I don't know driving. Therefore my husband (Who is a senior citizen) has to drop me to office and he has to come in the evening for picking me up.

Dislikes

I is a good company. If we have enough young challenging staff -Govt. appointing enough staff, Company will regain its old reputation. That much facilities, space, mechinaries are there
