Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

At this company I had a wonderful experience working as a content writer and a proof reader. It had a wonderful work culture may everyone was very helpful to I reach other enabling a very peaceful and a friendly work environment to work in. A very efficient organisation that respects its employees and also not only work quotes on benefit at also work towards the growth and development of its employees.

Dislikes

There were no major issues that I face working in the organisation. How ever there of cow workers may arise that's to didn't affect employee relationship.
