KEC is a good organization. It's employee friendly and promote diversity. Have seen people rising up after getting internal opportunity. Work life balance may be more on corporate offices than at site. But management is encouraging. They are improvising various HR practices gradually towards betterment. Happy to be here.

Dislikes

... cash for smooth inflow in the project. This brings pressure from top to bottom. Less basic salary and high retention. Rest is all good.

Flexible work timings, great work-life balance, plethora of opportunities for self-learning.

Dislikes

Compensation is calculated based on a random calculation especially for folks hired from top b-schools through campus recruitment. This results in lower than average compensation which increases attrition. Further, KEC culture is still more aligned with typical EPC companies than the more vibrant and empowering RPG culture.

The working atmosphere was good (especially in our design engg dept).The Bosses were Good and courteous.There was job security,good working atmosphere,the design team was good and hard working,willing to learn.

Dislikes

The compensation was OK,but there was little scope of growth i.e very difficult to expect promotions.The work pressure in design engg dept was also v high.We used to work on an average 11-12 hrs daily.Although I joined in Mumbai office ,I was transfered to Gurgaon office which lasted for 5 years i.e majority of the time I was away from my family.

Timely salary credited everytime.

Dislikes

They hire from good colleges and waste the human resource, they do not allow for skill development even during the training period they force you to work for their benefits.Forced to work on sundays.

Dislikes

Appraisal process too much slower. Salary given to below manager level employee is too less compared with task provided. Performance bonus is just for namesake.
