Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Learning and upgrading your skills is the best feature according to me. You'll get a lot to learn if you are willing to, just have to continue with the pace you started with. All the Managers and others members are very cooperative. They'll help you to improve your skills and enhance them by giving you special training and mentors till you succeed.
