Very homely environment than professional college. They understand your concern when u need leave for some days.

Dislikes

...vacation, even though University is on vacation they don't provide any vacation. Salary date is on 20th of every month which make us feel like getting paid for 1 in one and half month. Highly biased. There is no promotion or increament untill u get another offer and blackmail them. Assistant Professor are everything like they are playing multiple roles like, peon, Clarks, waiters, chefs, caretaker and teacher. And so many things. Even they would happy if the teachers work on Sunday.

Likes

A faculty with good communication and without expectation for praise can survive in this college. Management have no set rules, it favours a few. Also the infrastructure is good but washrooms are pathetic. You will get good work life balance. Students are good, except we should be polite with them.

Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.
