Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

The company is open to innovation and physically adopts latest technology. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural background, and We work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re hare policy hare.

Dislikes

The work pressure is very high sometimes, I have to work 12 hours straight in a days as I have to attend client calls in the evening.

It is a non structured company. There is no professionalism and not any work culture. Job can be secured if you are close to the management, then no need any skill.

Dislikes

There is every thing justified by the religion point of view.
