It's a young company and has been going through changes as any young company would. It certainly was poised to become a great company and was on the path. The current economic situation has certainly changed a few things for the industry as a whole, and Jumeirah is no exception. Work culture is dependent on the SBU and the leadership in the particular SBU. Corporate culture is less than desired and a culture of sitting on the fence, non decisive but very professional ( read superficial) with an individual focus on securing oneself first. Leads to a lot of indecision and focus on 'not getting things done' vs 'getting things done'. Job security is overall good and my rating is based on the present scenario ( 2020) Company policies are governed by the higher authority or the mother company and flows down from there. This is to maintain consistency in all verticals. Usually quite up to date with times. The policies used to be heavily staff orientated and even in the present scenario, all has been done to maintain that. Especially when benchmarked with several other similar companies in the region. The management is solid and possibly some decisions are made behind closed doors, however the communication is not explicit or timely. It floats in the upper echelon of the management and takes time, if it at all, to trickle down to the bottom. This is however not an unidentified area and steps are taken to make communication more effective ....however purely my personal opinion, combined with others, it's not perfect. It doesn't flow homogenously.

I personally had an enviable growth with the company. Learnt a lot and gave back a lot. I don't think there was anything that I disliked about the company. Or else I would not be there.
