New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Dislikes

Administrative policy about residential allotment. They have their own decision. And HR policy about salary deduction. They have added production incentive in CTC and they have right to deduct if accident happens in the campus. and deduction collected from employees not uses to componsiate any employee whose affected in accident.

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is trasparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling.

Only it is a integrated plant so we can learn many things at once place ..if we hv learning ability...

Salary is very low Work pressure is too much aco to Salary Seniors talking language is very worst They only wants production..not caring to peoples about their basic requirements.. Like Toilet, drinking water, food in Canteen, hospital is very waste Sanjeevani hospital. Worst management about their employees care... Their logo is better everyday.. For jsw only.. But for employees having L01 to L09 having worst everyday.. Main thing..nobody wants to care in hr,Glass house,Vp,Sr.V.p. all people are working for their better everyday only....
