Advise Needed - Staying vs leaving
I have an offer from Morgan Stanley since I wasn’t happy with my career trajectory in my current organisation - JPMC. After tendering my resignation, the management reached out to me trying to convince why leave JPM you’ve spent a lot of time here. Take a move internally etc. Now I’m selected and they are matching the offer I had from MS. What should be the best course of action for me? JPM is offering me a product role but under the same manager - I don’t wish to be under him. MS offers me a role in product operation and the team is expected to grow. What do I choose?

Work culture here at JP Morgan is awesome and people are very supportive and friendly. Management always gives you an opportunity to learn new skills to develop your self.

Compensation is average don't expect too much. No long working hours but during quarterly expiries you have to give support for 2hrs extra.

The best part during my tenure is employee appreciation week which is celebrated throughout the week in the month of Sept. Work life balance is very satisfactory.

...rtive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Cafeteria was good.

Dislikes

They use to make people work for 14 to 15 hours every day and never pay for overtime. No proper compensation for the hard work. Now I heard they pay for over time. But managers are not ready to approve overtime. They force people to update less time in the production tracker tool. So you will never recieve over time pay properly. This company make a lot of profit but they never share that with there employees. Not a great company to work for. You will never have peace of mind. My manager was a horrible one.
