...like and don’t worry if anyone resigns and goes Pay is too less. 8% is avg hike. Even after 6-7 years your salary will be 10-11 lpa Office poltics, favoritism too much Better look for something else out.

I like the diversity and inclusion at the company. Infrastructure is good.

Dislikes

... or sick leaves during the year. High working hours and flexible Lot of stretch. Low pay and less hikes. Less opportunities to apply IJP outside India. No opportunity to through to travel abroad. Wouldn't recommend a family person to join JP Morgan

The pay is at par and in some cases higher than other Investment Banks 3) Management listens and fosters feedback in most cases 4) Lots of Internal Mobility options which helps from career growth and switching if u dont want to stay in a particular profile 5) Promotion will happen as long as you perform well espcially till you get promoted to Sr. Assoc. Post that (to become VP and above), there are a lot of factors and not just work that determine your promotion All these points have some reverse example which I will cover in dislikes

...orporate Department) and almost No work life Balance (Controllers Department). 2) Pay - Like any other Org, pay differs from Department to Department. FP&A (Either Expense or Revenue in any Lob) has good pay. Technology has great pay. Controllers, Projects, Coporate have less pay. Similar for Bonus 3) Mangement sometimes dont care for certain issues even if you raise it. You/Your team may have raised an issue for 1 year non stop (and that it could be anything and relevant), if the senior stakeholders (Onshore or India) dont want to resolve it, then they wont. (Saying from a Personal Experience) 4) Promotions in Controllers and AWM are less. Whereas in Tech and CIB, its good. 5) Onshore Opportunity - Again from a personal experience. Even if u perform well, get recommended by Onshore clients for work etc. and there might be even a relevant opening, on shore opportunity may not get approved. (Technology being an exception). 6) Lack of Learning - For the first 3/4 years, you will learn a lot. Work, Hierarchy, What your/different Teams do, but then Work will become boring and not everytime your role will grow/expand to have steep learning. So either take Internal Mobility or Switch Companies

Huge Cafeteria, lots of get together bonding sessions with different teams, games, festivals celebrations, lots of different connect session conducted with higher management, different kind of learning materials provided for enhancing career etc

Dislikes

Upwards growth and pay package is too low, there are lots of politics, no hearing of new voices, too much of micromanagement, only growth of people who are in good books of seniors, there are so many career training & skills upgradtion programs but no time is available or given to spend our self etc

Work culture and scope for learning is very good, proper work environment you get here and assured job security. Year end bonus will make every employee very happy.

No salary revision despite getting promotion, but you will get decent hike during promotion and year end
