Company's work culture is really good. I like the work culture John Deere has. Company's policies for different aspects are also good. Policies are employee oriented. Job security is there if you work as per the company's compliances and deliver the output which is supposed to be delivered by you.

Dislikes

Career growth is very poor. The compensation & benefits are less in comparison with other companies.

Good salary compared to other core companies for traditional departments. Global exposure. Usually supportive management in terms of learning/upskilling. Can choose your career interests. Lot of opportunities to learn and implement your ideas.

Dislikes

Compensations years behind for advanced departments. People skills >>>> technical skills in eyes of management. You can get ahead with mediocre technical skills but not with people skills. Emphasis on 'people activities'. Almost 30% of your time is spent on repetitive updates to management, arbitrary metrics calculation, presentations and video editing. Many Yes Men and Women. Compulsory participation in 'fun activities'.

Unclear compensation details during increment Never join company if comp ratio above 100%,there will be almost zero growth for next 3-4 years No careers path for tech employees in company Zero growth especially after lay off

I really like to work at John Deere.I have been working in Deere since last two years but I am still learning.Senior members are always supportive and they always welcome the suggestion.

Dislikes

I don't really see the down side but I see there is some room to improve on pay scale.
