Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Open to latest technology in the field.Team members are supportive and company culture was really good. You can learn new hings here which are beneficial for your future growth.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow. Work pressure is high. Higher authority is supportive and so are the colleagues.On job training for learning new software which can enhance once skill as an engineer.
