This depends totally on your manager. Some of the managers will give you a lot of learning opportunities along with decent hike. Apart from this, there isn't much in terms of growth in the organisation.

Job security - Good

Dislikes

Top management is not aware of the ground reality of working with the clients. They keep expanding your responsibilities till you are over worked and then micro-manage almost everything.

Confused about Salary negotiations

CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
