A company that pushes you to a limit that you will learn a lot about FMCG dynamics, but at the same time you will be having mixed emotions if it comes to work life balance and your manager is your everything. He is the sole decider of your fate.

Work-Life balance, Average pay as per industry norms, opportunities are there but takes too long to prove your mettle, Your Boss is sole decider of your fate.

...n from top to bottom barbarous language without even thinking for a second. People here don’t pay full salaries to they DS that is salesman and pay less to them without telling their actual salary and use that money for themselves. This is what’s ethics are. Managers say that in this company nothing happens ethically and that’s why this company will never ever change. Please don’t just go by brand.

...ng MBAs for under-grad based roles, even a BA graduate can work in that role. 2. SALARY STRUCTURE - Salary structure is exploiting. Salaries are literally peanuts, TE - travel expenses compensation are worst in the industry, I mean who pays Rs100 TE for travelling and Rs75 for Food, where fuel rates are Rs100/litre. This becomes Rs300 (travel +food) after you become sales officer, but process to get it passed is still gross. 3. Work profile - work is that of a person who can be called a Salesman, if your parents have paid for your MBA to be salesman and nothing else, join ITC and good luck! 4. Work culture - Bureaucratic work culture. Babu / Saahab / Sirji, these are terms which your managers and super managers devote their seniors with. So, basically you are working for a FMCG company which acts like a government dept in a old traditional bank/PSU organisation. 5. HR working - HR policies are just for paperwork, you won't see a reflection on ground. HR has no role to play, reflect their role to bring harmony and organisational work in this company, HR will do nothing if your manager harass you.

...TRITION RATE. which is not good sign for the work culture of an organisation. 2. SALARY - They are exploiting MBA graduates for under-graduation based roles and salaries, else who hires a MBA and a third party TL/SO/Supervisor at same salary level ? ref: Rs25K pm. Only an exploiting organisation which doesn't cares for your professional growth and an employee who doesn't cares for his/her career trajectory would work at such low level salaries. 3. ASK YOUR CAMPUS TO DENY - If they ever come to your college for Sales Trainee / Sales officer profile hiring, ask your campus recruitment cell for a big no! There is Nestle, Mondelez, HUL/P&G hiring at tad better salaries for same roles, at least you'd be qualified for a salary growth negotiation after working with Nestle and HUL etc. (FYI these companies offer upto 7L pa starting CTC and ITC hires you for 3.7-4L pa) 4. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY STRUCTURE - At ITC positions are like, Tier 3 : They hire MBAs as Sales trainee, statutorily promote them to Sales officer next year (waste of your time, so keep stuck here), and Then promote them to Area Executive (after 2 yrs of working.) SALES TRAINEE AND SALES OFFICER are profiles added just to cut down company cost, so they can at least get you stuck with them for the next 3 yrs, and at a lower salary than industry by default. Tier 2 : They hire AMT - Area manager trainees from Tier 2 colleges, and put them to handle a team of Area Executives in a defined area of city (usually handled by 14-15 distributors), mind you an AMT - Area Manager handles a less denser area of 3-5 distributors at Nestle and gets paid more than an AM - Area manager at ITC. 5. WORK LIFE BAL. - OVERBUDERNED.

Salary on time, but it is peanuts. their supervisors on 3rd party payroll get Rs28K pm, where as ST gets Rs25K pm. HAVE YOU PAID YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO DO A MBA PROGRAM TO GET RS25PM SALARY. DONT GO TO THEIR PROMISES, ITS AS CRAP AS THEIR WORK.

Work culture, their managers are abusive alot and HR does nothing. HR COMES TO CAMPUS. doesnt tells you about work at all. - 25K pm as STR - Sales trainee. CTC 4.4L , you get 3.7L (this is same since 5-6 yrs) - 27K pm as Sales officer - after 1 year. - 38K pm after Area Executive (giving 2 yrs to this company, you are back to sq. 1 salary which Mondelez, or Nestle gives when you join from campus, lol) Increased salary on Increments reflects in your salary slips and in account from Oct month and not April, So if you're thinking to leave them by May month, you can't. If your campus does brings this company to your college, avoid sitting for this. Telling from a 4 years experience timeline view. There are better startups and brands which can pay you 2X the package these so-called big conglomerates pay, Avoid ITC, Better join a mid-scale company with 6L CTC and switch next year / after gaining good experience from there, you'll easily get 30% hike.

Just salary comes on time. But it is not acceptable acc to Industry standard, you're always over burdened and underpaid here. Performance parameters are vague.

Fake HR promises, Brand name with no strategic management - a hollow brand name which keeps its Lower level employees harassed. Non Supportive and abusive managers get promoted here. Now you can feel what kind of mid-to-top level mgt would be here - Toxic and Inhuman.
