It's a secondary care private hospital with all the basic amenities. Team mates are the best with average pay although we are on call for 24 hrs.work environment is good but no much scope for learning new things.

Allowed me to Go for Quarantine since me and other 3 staffs contacted directly with covid positive cases and they promised they pay salary for quarantine days

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
