Likes

Roaming around and meeting people was the highlight of this job.

Dislikes

The training period was horrible, without showing whats the process and product manufacturing upclose it was like roaming in the dark. Then the company even though it started in 2001, 95% of the people I have met didn't know about the company. Delusional thinking about the quality of the competition.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
