I enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems as well as the sense of accomplishment that comes with finding a solution. I enjoy my workplace's collaborative envirornment and the opportunity to work with talented and passionate people.

Dislikes

Management seems to be slow in assiging new work or handling out additional responsibilities, so I don't always feel like I am receiving enough challenge from the role.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
