Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is tranasparnt. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade chilling .company policies are good appraisal are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and management doesn't address our issue. Salary is decent buy career growth is slow. There is a bound of two years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new jobtraninig is not given to new jiineses
