If you are working really well and working hard and also showing off your work to upper management(this is important), the company will compensate you with a good appraisal. Helping colleagues. A good organization if starting as a fresher.

A lot of politics. Everyone is pulling each other's legs. Upper management will believe in what they hear rather than what has happened. Zero work-life balance. The company has no vision. They just do ad-hoc work. Some employees always try to influence the client to call them onsite.
