Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Learning is immense for fresher level. The can be sought for mid term employment like 2-3 years. Company provides lot of opportunities to learn, grow and work life balance is best in the industry.

Dislikes

The company has issues regarding project execution style, low compensation throughout the career. Top management should focus more on bringing more work, new methods of business, advancing working methods, aggressive marketing rather than gossip all the day. More work will enable the organization to provide higher compensation to their employees.
