It was a wonderful and an amazing research institute where I developed myself in research, improved my technical writing skills a lot. I explored new experimental techniques and learned to operate new research equipment. I could manage my time and work-life balance well in IGCAR, Kalpakkam.

Carrying out my project at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research was a dream come true for me. Had great experience for 6 months as people over here are very cooperative unlike at many other institutions. So many things to learn everyday as you will have routine interaction with employees of IGCAR.

Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
