Dislikes

1. No work life balance (Saturday is not offs & an employee is expected to be available 24 hrs on duty), 2. No growth opportunities especially if you join at a particular Post (SSE), 3. Very poor work evaluation system leading to improper and mostly biased evaluation of employees promoting unworthy employees & resulting in low moral & enthusiasm in most Staff.

Likes

Salary gets credited to your account before 1st of next month. Monetary benefits in the form of allowances. Other perks such as free passes and concessions for self and family. Free medical care at railway hospitals.

Dislikes

Terrible work culture. Extreme lack of work life balance. Career stagnation in supervisory cadre. Understaffed departments. Too much pressure on honest workers. Lifestyle diseases caused by work

Nothing every thing is going wrong except right time salary.

Dislikes

No system update, No skill test of an officer after induction whether they are obviously deserving or not, all channel works in old pattern under discrimination like british rule against Indian. Huge loss on providing over facilities to the officers than their output, no remuneration to the working category at par their hard work and so many draw backs except job security.

Likes

One of the corrupt organisation in history of india. It looted common people and salary gives to the officers only who are posted junior there benefits go on vein.

Dislikes

...torious staff and made him dependent on railways job he have no way to leave it. Juniors are getting very low as officers got 5 to 20 fold salary of juniors but there work is very poor even cbs, CMI/CCI even write a letter to officers just copy it forward it the officers. Seniors only know how to exploit this junior employee by not giving proper rest leave holiday leave etc

Likes

Railway never compromise with the safety of passengers. Never compromise with SOP ,quality of materials & maintenance of equipment. Jobs security is good.

Dislikes

...e joined Sr. Sec. Engineer through out whole service remains as Sr.Sec.Engineer. Salary structure is bad.
