CSIR-IITR is a research institute and one among the 38 laboratories of CSIR (Central Government regulated autonomaus institutes). They provide high quality research experience in biology, chemistry and nanotechnolgy. The institute is basically ment to tackle daily life toxicity and provide cure for it. Scholars having national fellowship can proceed their PhD degree here.

In CSIR-IITR, you can get good exposure of toxicant study in different department. Basically, it is government organisation so it is good for permanent but for as researcher you have to look better option.

CSIR-IITR is one of the premier institute to work as toxicologist, here you can work on multidisciplinary subject, career growth is good for permanent employee, salary is good , working environment is friendly.
