Good place to work, but no training and brief support. Only you need to utilize your experience here to work. ATough for accomodation for outsiders and difficulty for travel.

Likes

Indian Schooll of Mines is based on hard work and dedication. There is better job opportunities for B. tech and M. tech students. However, for P.hd. scholars, direct job opportinities are limited but the student completing Phd., are themselves capable of getting job.

Dislikes

IIT (ISM), Dhanbad least bothers about research scholars in terms of providing basic amenities.

As Faculty you have ample scope to grow your carrier and have freedom and support to work particularity in the field of Earth Science. . A good place to work and enjoy.

Dislikes

Only thing is about city which is has proper civil infrastructure with problem of law and order. Also employees are regional baised.
