Job Safety, health insurance, decent salary. Simple Interest on loans for staff and 1% higher interest for staff on deposits.

Promotion is based on buttering GMs and seniors. Promotion interview marks are noted in pencil and then changed once it reached corporate office based on above criterion. Very few specialist officers are given promotion, preference if only for POs; DO NOT join as specialist officer if you are looking for career growth. Random transferring away from home. Branch Managers are excessively pressurized.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees

Salary and allowances are decent. And if you are lucky enough to get a good manager, you life will be good.

Extremely bad work culture. Huge burden of targets, even new joinees are not spared! They won't give you an opportunity to learn, they only care about their business figures! Bad postings in unlivable rural areas. Yes perks and allowances are good, but often times you have to beg them to get those. Corrupt practices undertaken by HRM section, people of certain communities are given preference over the other. And if you dare to raise your voice against such injustice, you will be harassed even more.

Salary in PSBs is the only thing you can term as a positive.

Dislikes

Work life balance is non existent. Management will bluntly put it that they do not care about your health or mental condition. Targets are unrealistic and everybody is out to pressurize branches as much possible, even encouraging unethical and fraudulent practices. HR is non existent. You will be forced to work long hours to satisfy the ego of the management. Join at your own risk.
