The job security is good. The work and family life is well balanced with lots of leaves in a year.

Dislikes

The scope for promotion is limited. The salary is also not what you can be satisfied with. One is never on off duty. You will be engaged for all day all week.

Working as a soldier is always than just a job. The advantage of working in Corps of Signals in Army is the technical edge over peers and subordinates due to nature of tasks assigned. As it is said for Army, it is call beyond duty, I say that either you have it or you don't! I served and it has been an honour.
