...dless team leads/individual contributors, who often work long hours (12+ hours). - Initially, the new hires might receive an attractive salary package, but over time, leads may introduce terms like "pay parity" or raise expectations unexpectedly. It's not unusual to find that performance goals (so many of them) appear generated from Chat GPT without much consideration for individual contributions. - Even in a remote work setting, managing personal responsibilities like caring for children or handling errands can be challenging during work hours. This is way stricter than an actual office. - There is a disparity in how mistakes are addressed. For instance, some senior team members may receive leniency for significant errors (querying the entire database from hibernate query by an engineer with 10+ years of experience - how can that experienced engineer miss this?), while those outside the favoured circles face scrutiny for minor issues. This creates a sense of favouritism within the company. - It's noticeable that employee turnout is higher than in other companies. Many long-term employees (who were with one company for 10+ years) have left within a year, often due to increased pressure and frustration. - Despite the emphasis on quality and short release cycle, new hires may encounter numerous unresolved (tens of) defects upon starting. Lower-level employees often appear to be expected to address these bugs even when they stem from code written by higher-ups/favourites. Higher-ups get a pass for fixing bugs because they are "enabling", and the lower employees spend months tackling bugs. Even if you ignore this review, look at the 'high attrition rate', and you will be able to guess the underlying issues within the company culture. Many employees have resigned out of frustration without securing new positions, indicating a significant organisational problem.

1. Best thing is the leadership's emphasis on and openness to feedback. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to provide constructive feedback not just to their peers but also to the leadership and that truly makes Incubyte stand out. 2. The remote first culture at Incubyte provides the flexibility to WFH throughout the year. Whereas, the semi-annual WIPs allow us to have so much fun and strengthen our bonds with our teammates while travelling to new location across India (Don't worry, it's sponsored by Incubyte) 3. The team is super fun and collaborative and always lifting each other up. ZERO politics. Everyone is highly accountable and a star player.

There are many things I appreciate about Incubyte, but what stands out the most is the absence of office politics. Having experienced workplace politics in various companies, it's refreshing to be part of a culture where recognition and appraisals are solely based on your work performance. Incubyte ensures that you are acknowledged and appreciated if you're good at what you do. Another aspect I love is the flexible working hours, which help maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, if you're eager to learn new technologies, Incubyte provides the encouragement and support to help you grow. There are so many great things about working here, and it's hard to put them all into words

1. The entire day stretches at work due to client meetings (US clients) 2. The People Ops / HR team certainly needs a lot of improvement

I appreciate the positive and supporting company culture at Incubyte. Everyone feels valued and respected. Work life balance is great here Incubyte understands that we have personal lives outside work and support us maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
