New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

very bad office Politics and disqualified people are getting promotions. If you have good terms with management people then only you will grow in this company. After joining they are forcing everyone to do Salesforce certifications which are not at all useful for other profile users.

Actually whole power is in delivery manager he is managing everything. No doubt he is good person, but if he not pleased with you then you are nothing. Everyone is seeing you from his eyes only. You are wrong with him then you are wrong for everyone. You can't have productive conversations in this company.

Dislikes

Office politics, Quick judgements by seniors. I personally didn’t find any major growth in my knowledge. I became like a government employee working here. This company if good if you fed up with too much work pressure and wanted some peaceful job. Of course no one will be paying us for free. We need to perform obviously.
