Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Job security is very poor. In my opinion work culture is very beautiful. Management and company policies is very good according to staffs.

Cooperative teammates, good training program, job security depending on work culture, career growth not satisfied, salary/ appraisal is not good, learning is helpful for future, work environment is not bad.

Dislikes

Everything is fine but future growth is not satisfactory.
