Even after serving for so many years, the amount of productivity i was giving was not appraised in salary. They were ready to let me go instead of giving me a promotion or increase my salary to later hire people that are now being paid more than me.

...ped giving this during COVID, I don't know if they have started it again or not No salary hike, no promotion In 3 yrs I got salary hike of 200rs per month or Rs 2400 pa, when I told them that I am resigning then they raised my salary by Rs 4,000 and promoted, however I didn't want to stay and left for a bigger and better opportunity

There was no layoff or salary cut. HRs have always been in touch to keep a tab on our health and welfare. Besides, several online activities like sharing new workstation pictures, WFH pics, has been organised by the HR team. WFH is not fun but my office made it sure that it must not be boring either.
