Likes

The one bright spot at IDrive is its appraisal model. They are ahead of market standards in this regard, offering competitive raises. However, this lining comes at a heavy cost-compromised work environment, zero growth opportunities, and poor management. Unfortunately, the exceptional appraisal model is not enough to outweigh the many downsides of working here.

I had an unfortunate experience of working at IDrive support, and I can say that it was one of the most poorly managed organizations I've ever encountered. One of the most glaring issues is their inability to even prepare and share a team roster properly. It's baffling how something as basic as a roster can be mishandled. We were often left in the dark until the last minute, creating unnecessary confusion and stress among the team. The lack of foresight and planning is evident in every aspect of management. Adding to the chaos, the team management seems to create new guidelines on a whim, without any consideration for the practical implications or ground-level feedback. These guidelines are introduced with little to no communication, leaving employees to fend for themselves. There is no consistency, no structure, and certainly no SOPs that are followed within the organization. Do not expect any kind of promotional growth or opportunities to enhance your skills here. Whether you work for 10 months or 10 years, you will remain stuck at the same level, doing the same tasks you were assigned on day one. The work distribution is poor, and there is no recognition or appreciation for those who do go above and beyond. To make things even worse, if you dare to bring up any concerns with your team manager, prepare to be targeted. You tend to receive illogical feedback, seemingly just for the sake of proving the management is doing something. This creates a toxic atmosphere where employees are afraid to speak up, knowing they'll face negative consequences for it. In summary, IDrive(especially SUPPORT) is a place where careers stagnate. The management is incompetent, the work environment is toxic and the prospects for growth are non-existent.

Joined the company a few moths back and never realized it could be treat for me remember. The work culture is top notch. And appraisals are also good.

Dislikes

The company should work on its marketing policy. Since the product is performing really well, the common folks should know about it as well.

Worst place to work. Whitefield, Bangalore. 9th floor. HR and management is one hand. Be careful! Lot of office politics. Newbies are tormented and only the toxic suck ups remain, but not for long. What is provided in the offer letter is not what is followed after joining the floor. No hybrid wfo/wfh, working days extend to 10 days continous, hours worked to qualify for half day is different in the offer letter than what is followed on the floor! It's a literal scam! And HR is OK with it! They corner you when you have no where to go and they bully you! Be very careful of a sad excuse of a manager named Aneesh Ram alongside his little HR pimpress named Manjushree, and his lap dog named Johnny. It's a toxic work place! I do not recommend anyone to work here until these people are changed!

If you are the best person for the job, you will always be respected high and your work will be appreciated. Nothing as such. Dislikes come when you create problems. In such times also company stands with you. That's IDrive No Dislike at all to my knowledge.
