There are nice colleagues. CEO is kind. The core of the cause is inspiring. Thats it. Nothing else.

Dislikes

The main reason talented people are leaving iDare is because of the manager. She's overlly controlling, defensive and micromanages everything. Its unfortunate that all my colleagues shared one thing in common: dealing with a toxic manager. iDare has lost its original purpose and now feels like it belongs to the manager than serving its cause. The ceo avoids addressing issues with her because ceo heavily relies on her. this leaves everyone else struggling. Former employees who left because of the manager were often labeled as underperformers or untrustworthy. but all of them left because of the manager. manager is also extremely manipulative where she plays with the employees weaknesses. working at idare made me wake up anxious every day. After some time, it led to major anxiety that affected my personal life, requiring therapy. the company isnt supportive of its employees or focused on women's issues. there are no options like period leaves (despite being an all women company) or remote work, even when the work can be easily done from home. this isnt what you woudl expect from a supposedly progressive company. their policies feel outdated like from 1990s. idare used to be good but now it seems the manager manipulates the ceo with emotional tactics and false positivity. the ceo needs to listen to the staff and take action because the employees are the ones suffering. everyone except the manager is unhappy to be there in idare. that says a lot about the company and the leadership. im so glad i left, but i feel sorry for the other women with so much potential who are struglling under the managers power play. if the ceo had courage she would have fired the manager already but she has no guts and avoids confrontation like a plague so no matter how much employees complain nothing changes and the struggle continues. there are a lot of unethical practises that happen as well with client data that some things are grounds for getting sued. i wouldnt recommend working at iDare to anyone, not even my worst enemy. if you value your peace of mind , steer clear of this company. its simply not a safe place to work.

One of the most toxic places I have ever worked at. iDare is not an employee first company.I have had a terrible experience here where my life and mental health was significantly affected from the abuse, manipulation and its after effects from this so called "Mental health" company. iDare doesnt care about their employees or their wellbeing. Employees are often overworked with no acknowledgement. If you want to work in a company that focuses on work-life balance and peace of mind, this is not the place. There are other companies actually value the employees' mental health. In iDare. If you want to destroy your mental peace and experience what working in a toxic environment looks like, feel free to apply here and get your express ticket to mental insanity. Oh, also the 5* reviews are fake in ambitionbox. They purposely put positive reviews about the company so they can trick anyone who search about iDare to make them think that this is a dream workplace, when in reality its so toxic that it even made to national news. Bottom line: Toxic company. Toxic Management. Questionable rules and regulations. Lots of favoritism. Would not recommend it to anyone. If i could turn back time, i would have never joined here.

It is a all girls team, considering it a pro while stating the same. Work timing are good. Director and employees are really nice and kind hearted people.

Dislikes

The downfall of idare would be its manager, If you need to survive change the manager or teach them management skills and how to , Its more like a dictatorship rather than a cordial workspace environment. Even after many a times told management sided with the manager. If you keep nodding yes to everything they tell you can survive if not then your work life will become a living hell. Also the manager is very defensive. So the sole reason I had to leave was because of the manager and no one else.

We have different whole culture not like other corporate office does or deal with their employees, especially when we talk about our Boss/ Director it's completely a different wholesome experience with good energy n positivity:)
