...ge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling yes.Company policies are good.......salary paid for mant to mant .....but no bonus and covid pered not paid in salary (march to julay)......petrol amt all not paid ......job security is no.

Friendly and peaceful environment are the prerequisite for better research work. We have got that conditions both in the lab and in the institution.

Dislikes

Research collaboration and high end instrument facilities must be provided to explore scientific discoveries.

Likes

It is not at all a company, but a reputed and major bio-medical research institute of Indian council of Medical Research of Ministry of Health of Government of India with international research collaboration with USA, UK, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore like countries.

My stint at NICED was productive and my association with my supervisor was valued. My colleagues were supportive.

Dislikes

The position was contractual and there was no incentive to join the institute in the capacity of a scientist for the long term. The Institute was facing a financial crunch due to altered policies of the parent funding body ICMR. If one has an individual project funded by an external funding body then it is okay to continue research but the internal funding had dwindled that led to my decision of early voluntary closure of my own funding from DBT as I was looking to join the Industry eventually.
