I have a new job in ICICI Bank for Branch Banking as a Relationship Manager, but my friend, who is also in the same bank, told me not to join Branch Banking as a Relationship Manager because the sales targets are too high and the work culture is too toxic. He suggested I transfer to Corporate Banking." Please give me suggetion?

... is job security no one can terminate you on the basis of your working criteria. When it's come to compensation yes there is a huge gap between senior and junior salary structure but that's show your loyalty and consistency for the bank

Your Growth depends upon your boss. No incentive structure.. you will get a fixed bonus irrespective of your hardwork. Branch Managers keeps you forcing to do hard core sales. Morning hurdles are pathetic. Learning and growth is really poor. Good thing is job security. HR at ICICI is strong.... 2nd largest bank in India so you will get a decent base.

Very very less salary compare to other private banks and in all the positions it is same, ICICI looks for cheap labor only by taking advantage of unemployment in India and by this hr practice they are unable to get good employees that's why this bank's share is sinking day by day.

...ference to Colleges whom they hire Candidate from, no respect for performance... Lateral hiring are just a labour for Bank and those who come from lower colleges they don't even pay good to them even after great performances
