VERY BAD EXPERIENCE JUST DON'T FALL FOR COMPANIES FAKE PROMISES. They hired me as a intern for 3 month and they will hire me if my performance is good and promise me that they will provide me MAC n other things to work better but they didn't do that and they don't have any plan or work for me. I have to call them everytime and ask for a work and after one month they stop giving me any work and after that they kept ignoring me for next 2 months and after that they said we can't continue with you and they didn't even give me letter.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
