Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Until Dr. Rashad Alkashgiri was controlling all the activities of the college we had job security, and unbiased treatment to the teaching faculty. Once it got de centralized and vice deans were given power to control things changed drastically. Honest, loyal and hardworking people were blamed.

Dislikes

Relatives of higher management, especially relatives of vice dean and people close to vice dean started playing politics and tried to show a very wrong picture of certain employees for their own revenge. This has lead to threat or insecurity of jobs to the sincere faculty existing. It is the responsibility of the Dean to find the genuine reason for taking the decision of ending the contract of any faculty wisely rather than depending completely on vice deans decision. As there could be any underlying issues. Mostly hardworking and genuine people who can bring a remarkable change in the education system and policies are effected at ISNC.
