New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

IBIL is a small company but they are ready to provide a lot of good things to its employees like flexible timings, understanding management very good salary increment( will provide atleast 15% per annum). There is no swipe-in/swipe-out logs so no worries about timings.

Dislikes

They will provide good things to only senior employees. Juniors has to suffer. When seniors can have flexible timings, work from home opportunity and all juniors won't get any of these. When juniors need to strictly follow 9-7 working seniors can get in any time and get out any time. In case of seniors company only looking for productivity. This is very good advantage for seniors but not for juniors

They train you good in the initial period . Some employees are friendly and helpful.

Dislikes

They train you then even if you score good marks in their internal test,They will find reason to fire you. Job security isnt there at all. The person who trains you has high ego
