Decent learning since they are into the credit card space and closely work with Banks

Dislikes

Although the culture and the learning is decent the senior Management team needs a complete revamp The SVP - Business Solutions is an absolute puppet to the org who's clueless about the industry, projects and the why and the what. He's become a menace to the org where teams are expected to give him "gyaan" on the happenings of the project because of his lack of knowledge and capability to lead teams effectively His only job is to send out meeting invites and push people to give him KT and share updates to be in the good books of the Senior team. Every team is aware of his incapability and not sure why is he still there There have also been an exodus of exists in the previous 7 months or so followed by silent lay offs in the orgs which ofc didn't go unnoticed and the senior teams have not been transparent about it The company is also burning cash heavily and is in dire need of clients/ banks to stay afloat There is also lack of vision and business and sales teams have 0 knowledge of the company's product suite and are heavily dependent on customer success/ product and engineering Complete lack of coordination among the senior teams where everyone is absolutely clueless on what and how the product should be build Advice to the management - Rebuild your team by hiring folks with solid experience who have gotten their hands dirty ( consultants, Ex PMs , strategy heads who have worked in startups and big product led giantsamf have created impact instead of folks with just brand names who have worked to just follow up and ask for updated in meetings) Have a clear vision and understanding of what we want to achieve. Be transparent about revenue goals , targets and set targets for god sake and be transparent about all the things happening in the company

The product is great. The company has a lot of potential to grow.

Dislikes

The work hours are just too much. Working on weekends and working till late nights is pretty common here. There is not much freedom given to the engineers here. PRD, design discussion or any type of documentation for that matter do not exist. Tasks are just assigned to the developers and the Devs are expected to complete the task in an unrealistic timelines. Prepare to lose out on work life balance. The project planning done by the engineering head is really poor which results in these unrealistic timelines.

No pros at all

Really bad culture. There are many startups that hustle well and create impactful work. Here there were no mentors but only rude and arrogant corporate bosses who have the least respect for the team. Just stay away from this place as it will do you more good than you know.
