Actually it's a part of diploma course for 6 months as a trainee. As a trainee in HIT I learnt many things by involving in manufacturing and testing process step by step. Firstly the company trained me in designing the core arrangement for small transformers and then with different types like shell and stepped core type. Especially they trained me in checking and testing of transformers such as: Polarity test Insulation test Short circuit and open circuit test Winding resistance test Voltage ratio test Dielectric strength of oil for buchholz relay etc. Lastly they taught me how to check the failure of tranformers of the old ones.
