It is no longer employee friendly company. You won't get salary correction and for longtimers salary will be too far below the market. I wouldnt suggest this company at this current situation.

Everything except few benifits which it provides just to showcase that they are concerned about employes but not actually they are.

1. I have been working with HSBC from last 12+ years and seen many up and downs in the economy. In these situations HSBC will be handling at its best from many other companies. Moving the resource out of HSBC also it handles in smooth landing than throw out. I feel happy and good to see many of my colleagues who have been faced these type of situation also feel good on HSBC than any other companies. Package based on experience in HSBC, Job assistance doesn't makes hurt to the employees who worked for long with HSBC and it keeps standards same in world wide. 2. On Work culture, now a days we are updating much on technologies, taken nice curve which makes competitive. We are also shaping our careers with these technologies be productive resource for HSBC to make economically strong and competitive products. 3. HSBC management supports in great way during COVID-19, keep safe and health all the time. WFH makes more productive and we are working hard to keep the things normal situations. Thanks to the ITOPs teams supporting in case of any networking issues. 4. Company policies doesn't make any changes from normal situations. Every thing looks fine.

...ch is build some work pressure, but happy to support in situations like this. 2. Salary wise it looks below market based on my experience, could it make decent compensation. 3. We have worked hard not to get any escalations and have smooth release of the products, but there is situation like which are getting escalated and handled are highlighted than products with smooth release.

Good learning opportunities if you get chance to explore with work. Learning portal, good trainings.

Dislikes

No hike, though you perfom consistently well and get good review ratings. Many leaves are there in year. But mostly long leaves we can take in Dec. Even in Diwali time you mostly loaded with work.

Its a good organization with work-life balance. You will get good support from management. Also many trainings and courses are available to improve your self.

Dislikes

Do not expect year end hike and bonus like other banks. Not good organization for on-site aspirants.

... company they used old technologies. But now they are adopting new technologies. Compensation wise it is good pay master in the industry. Work life balance is also good. During COVID-19 company supported a lot.

Over all company is good but there few old folks in the company who try to steal latest technologies project from you and force you work on old technologies.
