Everything except salary hike. Teammates are terrible. Managers and Team leads are more terrible and horrible. The company has become like a dirty pond with people rotting since years. They are highly insecure and don't like talented people working under them. They keep playing dirty tricks within the company and managers are moving in and around different verticals in HSBC. New people are not welcomed

...mpanies. Overall work is good, work life balance is there, work culture is good. If you get a good package when joining, can stay in here for few years comfortably.

Work culture varies from team to team. HSBC is a bureaucratic mess. The management is clueless about what is happening and just throws around the latest buzzwords like a parrot There is a lot of scope to develop your skills and learn as there is no one here who knows anything and you yourself have to take up the initiative to do things

Dislikes

Compensation is poor There are no procedures in place to accomplish things but their feature list is too long, expectations are high and timelines are too tight

Likes

Good culture, learning and work environment. Lot of opportunities of land up in right team at right time.

Dislikes

...re is a lot of politics in some areas and management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but it depends on how well you represented across management by your leads. On the job new to domain, culture will take time to gel may be someone not used to will feel odd man out or process difference.
