Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

There is nothing to like about this company. One can't get any skill there. Working in this company is just a waste of time.

Dislikes

The company is operated by some family members with full of jealous against each other. The founder himself wants to make everyone his puppet. He wants spy not emplyees. Everyone in the company knowingly fighting with each other. No work, only politics. No work culture, not secure for females. No jo b security. You become bootlicker you will get promotion and you can be fired the very next day. Anyone can be fired anytime. It's not a company, its a house full of jokers. 😜.
