New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. The company is open to innovation. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that market reliable, high quality services has nation wide Client base. As a result I traveled nation wide and mostly in vibrant Gujarat. Mine is a Ahmedabad and Gujarat based Client and they have office in Ahmedabad. Another plus point is that my colleague come from different cultures and background and we worked happily in collaboration. I also like here the employee-re-hire policy.

Compensation is decent, but growt is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 16-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend clients calls sometimes late in the night and late night running operations too. I do receive many mails from my clients. Also there is no on the job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step by step which is a pain sometime.
