... of year on year hike. I didn't see my work speak anytime during my tenure here. No flexible component in compensation as well, very less benefits.

Nothing. It is good for local people, they take it as a part-time job and they handle their business outside. Or many of them just sit and wait for retirement from here. Managers and directors are not here by their quality but they are just sitting here for 15 years and waiting for retirement.

Dislikes

...y may also disrupt your personal life by sending you to the customer's location. Additionally, they might refuse to give you a salary hike because you received per diem (daily allowances on site, i.e., $50) at the customer site.

The work culture is good. Every employee is well aware of the company ethics. Since honeywell was a pioneer in many technologies in this mordern world. A person can learn a alot and improved their knowledge by searching its vast database. However, one needs to do it by himself. No spoon feeding, which is actually good.

Dislikes

Salary and appraisals are nominal. Company is lacking in innovative products nd finding it difficult to cope up with the sudden giants which have grown in these years.

Likes

Company is little bit better than Indian service based organization. Its a huge company so if you land up in good project and management it can be valuable. A lot of work is there so you can get your hands dirty and learn stuff. IT or security teams is having a lot of work as company has lot of tech debt so people who are young and want to learn can do a good work in couple of years and look for work outside. Trainings are available if your manager nominates you. I had a good manager so it was easy to access the trainings.

Dislikes

...calls are in evening and they expect you to be available for late night calls. - No compensation or bonus for extra hours and weekend work. We have worked 12-13 days straight without any compensation or a thank you. Director says its part of job but pays engineers in other geographies. - A lot of unethical practice goes on in towers that no one actually resolves as its a huge org and most of the revenue comes from production and aviation. - Documents are kept in closed quarters so very few folks can access. - India is a cheap cost center and there is lot of discrimination that is done on the basis of that.

There there is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issue salary is decent but career growth is slow on the job training is not given new joiners
