It used be the crown jewel in the Indian wood working machineries manufacturing industry. Entire wood working industry including employees, customers, business partners and vendors thrived under the leadership of Mr.Govind. At global level it is really good organization to build career. HOMAG group commands over 30% of global market share. In India they had around 55% market share. Employees morale was quite high and employee turnover was zero. But it was those good old days!

Dislikes

All the positive feedback listed here are absolutely fake! Current leadership including MD and departmental heads have no clue on how to lead a team or run an organisation. They are intoxicated in power due unchecked authority and newly found wealth (?). It's very unfortunate that global leadership team has turned a blind eye towards HOMAG India. Current phase of this organisation is a clear text book example of how not to run an organisation. Literally anything can and will happen in this organisation as per MD's mood swings. Employees are more concerned about their proximity to power than their work. Employees turnover has increased by 200% within a 2 to 3 years. Employees will be hired and fired at a drop of the hat! Dwindling sales and poor customer response may force this organisation to close their operations in India within 2 years. Only a miracle can save this organisation. Its offers a great opportunity for those who consider chaos and shortcuts as a stepping stone for their personal growth.

Good Company and products. German technology learning Skill development Travel facilities Old management was awesome.

New management is not good. No appreciation No increments No sales incentives MD is never directly interact with employees even with customer also..

First thing is job security, which is not there. No work culture, no seniors support to generate sales. No customer support activities, poor service. Which gives to customers a wrong experience

Work environment was good before pandamic, but now it's so irritating.....

Dislikes

Unnecessary huge amount of everyday internal online meetings.. Which effects on everyday working efficiency with Homag customers.

There has always been lot of office politics, which has increased in last 1 year Work place harassment by leadership team is not tolerable There is a lot of insecurity in the workplace The top management talks about empathy and all, but they do not follow... they just preach it Women employee are not treated well. All so called Manager are being treated as highly paid clerical workers. Every Manager listens to only one person in the organisation, to fulfill his expectations they dont even care about their subordinates. Every decisions is just ONE WAY, DICTATED and all other have to follow, if someone challenges they ensure that either that employee resign by himself or he is asked to resign. Every employee is treated as machines, there is no WORK LIFE BALANCE.....
