It was a very small company and one got an opportunity to see how all aspects of the business were conducted.

Dislikes

The manner in which the ISO certification for the company was achieved was fundamentally flawed. The personal behavior of a master trainer/director of the company was far from congruent with the persona that was proposed to deliver to corporates after training the personnel in those companies.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
