Saturday and Sunday leave but sometimes we need to work on weekends. Job security. On time salary

Dislikes

Even though it is a MNC, Salary and benefits are very poor. They will hire for lower salary than your current salary. No MNC culture. Typical Indian small scale managemant company where employee never benefited. With low salary and high work pressure, employee will face high stress and no work life balance. Poor culture and benefits, no team outings, no free lunch, no onsite opportunity, nothing in employee benefits.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
