Working in Hindustan copper limited will make a journey full of knowledge related with minning operations, however company is struggling with many hurdles in their path way.

Work life balance is too much poor , No perfect planning for its implementation from top management exists here. Shortages of executive and non executive makes the work progress slower , and in lethargic manner.

Our company is open to innovation and i am a member of a very good mining team and producing best quality copper ore.

My team members are cooperatives and our job is secured but growth is slow at senior level due to vacancy issues

being a public sector company, the job security is guaranteed..The team mates that i had worked were very cooperative and always ready to share the feelings, the work load and were ever ready to offer solution to vexed problems. Pay structure is very good, work life balance is decent.

Dislikes

the technical people are marginalized. the personnel administration and finance rule the roost. apple polishing is given preference to talent. people who toil hard in mines and fields are given a short shrift while those who work in air conditioned room have all the accolades. promotion policy is lopsided. some non deserving candidates gets promotion before time while others who fill company's coffer gets the same after 7=8 years. young engineers who will join will get frustrated as they will see that their batch-mates in HR, Administration and Finance overtaking them.
