Everything thing in the company is all about disliking only no proper clarity of work fake medical policy no salary clarity they will show something else and will give you something else HR department of the company is uneducated and pathetic and worst worst and worst they just fool the employee in name of HPCL govern company they do manipulation and lot of politics from old people rude and abusive language is used by some people management is from HPCL and does not interested in employee favour Please don't join the company your life be hell

...nvolved or not in that activity. Almost all activities, engineer has only to do. Salary structure very worse, in hand salary very less, even operators gets more salary and overtime than engineers. Engineers do not have OT and they has to work without Overtime for longer time. A lot of line leakages and very dirty plant. Cannot construct its own internal road what to think of others. Your clothes and shoes gets bitumen stick over it, makes dirty wherever you move. Top operations manager (sitting in HQO), politics is there, your appraisal or promotion depends on touching of their feet and oiling, not on your performance. If you dont do that, they give your negative review to final appraisal signing authority, and creates your negative image/performance to board members. I suggest Engineers not to join this company.

As a fresher you can learn so many things. And one thing to like this company is job security

The major issue is salary. They didn't give expected salary to freshers who are coming from reputed institutes like IIT's and NIT's.

Work life imbalance, salary structure and salary hike, senior level mismanagement. Expected to work overtime without pay. Do work that is irrelevant from your KPI.

If you are promoted and automatically your salary and perks shall be increased but company will deduct the increased portion of the salary in the name of medical policy. The take home ultimately will be the same as earlier, even post promotion and the increament.

This company becomes a dictatorship.
